Montessori Beginnings is a one-hour discovery group for children under the age of two and their caregivers. Babies and young toddlers explore the Montessori environment designed specifically for them, while parents, grandparents, and nannies engage in discussions built around a variety of parenting topics, within the scope of Montessori's educational practices. We will meet Thursdays, 2:45pm-3:45pm in the CVMS toddler classroom. Each week we will spend time playing together, and create conversation on the following parenting topics.
January 15th: Week #1: "Freedom Within Limits"
January 22nd: Week #2: " An Environment for Independence"
January 29th: Week #3: "The Montessori Movement and Method"
February 12th: Week #4: "Follow The Child"
February 26th: Week #5: "Language Appreciation"
March 5th: Week #6: "Peace Education: Grace and Courtesy"
March 12th: Week #7: "Routines: Eating and Sleeping"
March 19th: Week #8: "Toilet Learning"
