About the Garden: The Monte Gardens school garden is a beautiful space for growing and learning! Join Garden Educator Taylor Henry to work on projects that beautify the garden space and make it even more welcoming to students. The Monte Gardens School Garden hosts Growing Healthy Kids Garden Class, serving all grade levels over the course of the year. In it, students study nature, plants, and get to engage with learning in a hands-on way. The garden is a cared for by Garden Educator Taylor Henry, community members, and students.

Accessibility Notes: There will be access to bathrooms, AC, shade, and water. The space is accessible to wheelchair users. Event staff has some Spanish language knowledge. If you have any questions about accessibility, please reach out to our team!
You should Bring: Please bring garden gloves and large buckets if you have them. For your comfort, please bring water bottles, sun protection, close-toed shoes, and clothes that can get dirty.
Service Hours: Service Hours are availible at this event for MDUSD students seeking credit. Be sure to bring any paperwork you need signed with you.
