Where is Rotuma?
Rotuma is a Polynesian island located in the South Pacific and is one of the outermost islands in the Fiji Islands. Rotuma was once an important outpost for ancient Polynesian navigators who traveled throughout the Pacific by expertly reading the stars and the elements. Today, UNESCO has named the Rotuman language one of the most endangered indigenous languages on earth.
