
About this Event
In this 75-90 minute hands-on workshop, kids ages 7 & up will each decorate their very own 5-inch, 3-layer cake. With Chef Tai’s guidance, they’ll learn fun monster fur piping techniques to turn a simple cake into a silly, spooky, and downright wacky monster masterpiece.

- One 5-inch, 3-layer cake per participant
- Buttercream in vibrant “monster” colors
- Edible eyes, horns, fangs, and fondant features
- All decorating supplies needed
- Aprons to use during the workshop
- Step-by-step instruction from Chef Tai
- A take home box for their finished cupcakes
- A photo-op at our Monster Showcase before heading home
This is a fun and engaging way for kids to explore their creativity, learn beginner cake decorating skills, and celebrate spooky season in style.
Because of the pace of the workshop, it's recommend that any kids under 7 years old be assisted by a grown-up for a sweet experience! There is no extra charge for the grownup, since they will only be assisting (not decorating their own set). However, space is limited, so grown-up helpers may need to stand/rotate around tables, if necessary.
✨ Costumes Welcome! ✨
Kids are invited to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costume, if they’d like. Whether it’s a silly monster or a sparkly princess, costumes add to the fun! (Aprons will be provided to wear over costumes during decorating.)
Important Details:
- Ticket Price: Ticket price is per child. Should you wish to add a sibling see our special rates.
- Early Bird Pricing: Take advantange of super early bird and early bird tiered pricing options. The earlier you book the more your save!
- Class Size: There is a 4 child minimum required to hold workshop. In the event of low turnout, a refund will be issued.
- Class time: This is a hands-on class. Depending on the flow of the class and the speed of the attendees the class could end a little early or run a little overtime.
- Cancellations: All cancellations must be made within 7 days of event. Eventbrite fees are non-refundable. If for some reason you need to cancel after the 7-day period, please reach out as a credit can be issued for a future class. Credits will not be issued for any cancellation requests made less than 72 hours before class date.

· Bachelor degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University
· Master degree in Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University
· Florence University of the Arts / Florence, Italy Study Abroad
· Former High School Baking & Pastry Arts Teacher
· Over 10 years as a business owner and over 15 years’ experience in the baking industry
