Greetings Family!

I am the Granddaughter of the late George Preston Monroe & the late Dorothy Monroe, and the daughter of Robert J. Monroe, Sr. also known by the family as "Snookie" & Levon Monroe. I am the sister to Carol Monroe and Robert J. Monroe, Jr.

It has been such a long time since we have gotten together as a family and my hope is that this "Family Reunion Day" themed "Reuniting The Past...While Shaping Our Future" will be a step in the direction of reconnecting us, sharing stories, and making new memories with our loved ones. We are looking forward to seeing everyone, meeting family and having a great time during our action-packed reunion day.

Your Reunion Day Ticket Cost includes:

The cost for the fun filled family day cook out. We will have great food, fellowiship and lots of fun activites ranging from talent show case, basketball, board games, jump rope, hulla hoops, foot ball, volley ball, walking trail, water ballon toss, etc.

• Sunday - May 26, 2024 | National Museum of African American History & Culture Museum Tour (Tickets are not currently available at this time. I am working on trying to secure tickets for either Friday, May 23 or Sunday, May 26 or both days if possible). So this event is tentatively scheduled and subject to change.

I have worked diligently to keep the registration fees as affordable as possible while maintaining a quality event. Your advance payment is greatly appreciated in order for us to effectively plan and prepare for this grand occasion prior to your arrival. The location is minutes away from the Washington National Harbor, Gaylord, and the MGM National Harbor Resorts & Casino.

All ticket sales will be final and no refunds will be issued as our Reunion Day will take place rain or shine. Ticket sales will be open through May 3, 2024. Payments will not be accepted on site at the venue on the day of the event.

The Monroe-Washington Family Reunion Group Rate is $120.00+ tax per night. (Doubles or King). This rate of $120.00+ tax per night is being offered for our group from Thursday, May 23, 2024 through Sunday, May 26, 2024. THE HOTEL IS REQUIREING THAT ALL RESERVATIONS BE MADE BY MARCH 24, 2024 to reserve this discounted rate. THEY WILL NOT HOLD ROOMS FOR US AFTER THIS DATE. You must have a credit card and/or debit card from a repitable financial institution such as a bank/credit union to make your reservation. The hotel informed me that they do not accept cash app credit cards, venmo, zelle, etc. They only accept major credit cards and/or debit cards from a repitable financial institution. They do not accept cash. You will be responsible for securing another hotel venue should you not be able to meet the deadline for securing your reservation with Comfort Inn, Oxon Hill. Please request the MONROE-WASHINGTON GROUP when placing reservations with Comfort Inn, Oxon Hill. If you elect to not stay at the Comfort Inn I have included a list below of other hotels in the area that are near the venue where our event will take place. You will need to follow up directly with those establishments regarding room rates, securing room(s), and/or your own hotel accomadations.
