About this Event
Join Nessa Darcy, Creative Entomologist, in Monkstown at 3pm on Sunday July 10th. She will introduce us to the diversity of hoverflies, bees, butterflies, bugs, beetles, woodlice, spiders and more, in Monkstown! Learn different techniques for finding and identifying insects. Find out about their lives and homes, what they need, and why they are so important.
Nessa's mission is to reintroduce humans to their natural habitat through colourful encounters with insects: school workshops, outings, surveys for conservation management, and art with a focus on flora and fauna.
Children (age 6 and upwards) must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Meet at top of Carrickbrennan Road at pedestrian entrance to Carrickbrennan Lawn (opposite the cemetery).
