✨ 2025 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 3-ից 20-ը «ՀայԱրտ» մշակութային կենտրոնում տեղի կունենա «Մոնի և Ջո. Երկխոսություն շերտակտավի միջոցով» ցուցահանդեսը, որտեղ կներկայացվեն Մոնի Հովսեփյանի (Հայաստան) և Ջո Քենինգհեմի (ԱՄՆ) 7 զույգ շերտակտավներ, այն է՝ քվիլթեր։ Այս ցուցահանդեսը յուրահատուկ երևույթ է, քանի որ հայ արվեստասեր հասարակությանը ներկայացնում է ժամանակակից կերպարվեստի նոր տեսակ։
🌟 Ջո Քենինգհեմն արվեստագետ է, շերտակտավի արվեստի վերաբերյալ 10 գրքի հեղինակ՝ որպես ժամանակակից արվեստի առանձին ուղղության։
🌟 Մոնի Հովսեփյանը արվեստագետ է, գրաֆիկական նկարիչ։ Հայաստանում ժամանակակից արվեստի այս ուղղության հայտնագործողն է և առաջին վարպետը։
Հեղինակների ընկալմամբ շերտակտավը պարզապես գեղեցիկ գործվածք չէ․ նրանք ստեղծում են արվեստի գործեր և պաշտպանում են շերտակտավի իրավունքը ունենալ իր յուրահատուկ, յուրօրինակ տեղը ժամանակակից արվեստի համայնապատկերում։
Շերտակտավների միջոցով հեղինակները մտնում են հետաքրքիր, իմաստալից, կոնցեպտուալ երկխոսության մեջ։ Չնայած ոճերի և տեխնիկաների տարբերությանը՝ նրանք ունեն իրար շատ մոտ ամբողջական աշխարհընկալում, որը և ապահովում է արվեստագետների անչափ հետաքրքիր երկխոսության բարձր որակը:

✨ From October 3 to 20, 2025, the exhibition Moni and Joe: Dialogue through Quilting will be held at the HAYART Cultural Center, where 7 pairs of quilts by Moni Hovsepyan (Armenia) and Joe Cunningham (USA) will be presented. This exhibition is a unique phenomenon, as it introduces a new type of contemporary fine art to the Armenian art-loving public.
🌟 Joe Cunningham is an artist, author of 10 books on quilting as a separate direction of modern art.
⭐️ Moni Hovsepyan is a painter and a graphic artist. She is the discoverer and first master of this direction of modern art in Armenia.
According to the authors, a quilt goes beyond beautiful textiles; they create works of art and defend the right of quilting to its special, unique place in the panorama of contemporary art.
Through their quilts, the artists enter an interesting, meaningful, and conceptual dialogue. Despite the difference in style and manner of work, they are close in their holistic perception of the world. The ensuing result is a truly interesting dialogue of real artists, made in the language of conceptual compositions.
The exhibition was realized thanks to the efforts of Professor Armen Darbinyan.
