About this Event
A unique and engaging weeklong series of interactive workshops, art events and activities, and live performances from Nov 30-Dec 6th aimed at increasing our community’s collective financial literacy. In partnership with Heritage Bank of Nevada and hosted by Nevada Fine Arts, 1301 So Virginia Street, Reno.
The importance of teaching our community’s youth and their families about money is critical. Early development of habits around earning, saving, giving and investing has never been more important, especially during the holidays.
Our mission is to inspire a new way of learning through the arts, crafts, music and theatrical performances. We know this audience is simply nonresponsive to educational classes. This unique approach is designed to specifically engage, inspire and help the less fortunate and un-banked youth and their families in our community to learn about earning, saving, giving and investing in their own financial health.
We are seeking additional partners and sponsorships. All events and activities are free to the public but do cost nominally to produce. Growing the financial health of our community impacts all of us.
