HEY volleyball lovers,With the amazing support we have received in the last few months, we want to continue being consistent with hosting and ensuring we are giving plenty of tournaments for you all to compete in.
We understand many other tournaments are occuring in August, so we wanted to do something on a smaller scale, but just as fun and competitive.
We are having our FOUR OF A KIND tournament following this tournament so please be on the lookout for that, and maybe use this tournament in prepartion for that!
MONEYBALL is exactly what is sounds like. Prize is the money.
We will be giving 1st and 2nd place winning teams of each division a certain percentage of the registration pot upon their own divisions. With that said, the more teams that are competiting in your division, the higher chance of a payout you will receive out of the pot.
WINNING COMPETITORS WILL ALSO receive a FREE ENTRY for the FOUR OF A KIND TOURNAMENT. Think of this as a prequal for what's to come! (you do not need to register with the same team for the later tournament)
The format is SAME SEX 4s, with divisions in OPEN, A and BB.
RULES of this tournament are going to be INDOOR 4s rules brought to outdoor.
Rules:
- OPEN hand receives on serves are allowed
- OPEN hand receives on dinks and rolls are allowed
- NO set overs, no pushes across the net
- NO open hand tips or finger action when attacking
- Finger action is only allowed when at the net for blocking and or jousting at the net.
- Redirection on blocking is ALLOWED
