All are welcome to attend to gather more information on these financial topics. However, to get the most value from this workshop, we suggest the following pre-work.
Pre-work:
- Record all of your expenses for the next 30-days.
How to Track Your Expenses:
- Keep all your receipts; make note of how cash is being spent.
- Record your transactions using one or more of the following methods:
- Paper and pencil
- A spreadsheet (email us at [email protected] and we'll send you an Excel template)
- Your bank statement (if you use your debit cards for all purchases)
- An online budgeting app like EveryDollar or YNAB
- Total your spending by category
- Bring this information with you to the workshop
