Together with Jérôme Bouchaud as a moderator, who is also an editor, author and translator based in Langkawi, they will question how narration and the act of writing can act as a means to bring back memories. As they have both evolved in different countries than their respective homelands, this discussion will also look into how inspiration is impacted by this displacement, and how it nurtures a different vision of their home countries.
The conference will be preceded by the presentation of the "Mahsuri" book with the presence of the illustrator Sandra Khoo and followed by a book signing session with H. Tengour, P. Samarasan and S. Khoo.
