Looking to level up your Lindy Hop? We are teaching four Intermediate Lindy Hop courses in July on Mondays at 6:30pm. Through lindy hop patterns and working with different tempos these classes will focus on improving quality of movement, connection and dancing at faster speeds. The prerequisites for this course include:
- You can comfortably demonstrate at 140 beats per minute the skills presented in both lindy hop Fundamentals (level 1) and Continuing lindy Hop (level 2): Open basic, circle, swingout, arm tension, partner connection, and some common beginning moves such as passes, tuck turns, etc.
- You are comfortable flowing between 6 and 8 count
- You have an into-level understanding of musicality and how it applies to dance To meet these skills, you have likely been dancing Lindy Hop for at least 6 months, possibly a 1 year or more. Unsure if you are ready? Ask a VT Swing Instructor to check in, we’d love to help you find the best fit!
