About this Event
Smart Grid Innovation Network (SGIN) Canada , in collaboration with Research New Brunswick (RNB), University of New Brunswick (UNB), Clean Energy Connections (CEC), and the North Shore Mi’gmaq Tribal Council (NSMTC), has launched an engagement and listening workshop series to better understand the barriers hindering clean energy development in New Brunswick.
After reviewing numerous surveys, studies, and reports, we have identified key themes that pose challenges to clean energy development. Now, we aim to connect with as many New Brunswickers as possible to hear your thoughts on how to address these barriers.
The identified themes are:
- Communication and Collaboration
- Trust and Confidence
- Understanding How Energy Drives Economic Growth
- Workforce Attraction and Retention
We are in the process of connecting with individuals and groups across the province to hear their ideas on how we can shape the energy transition and have more voices in future energy strategies. Please join us in Moncton to share your voice. The event will begin at 5:30 in the Léopold– Taillon Pavilion Building, Salle Richelieu Room (18 Av Antonine-Maillet, Moncton, NB E1A 3E6).
Please contact Hannah ([email protected]) for more information regarding the joint project.
