Juniors - join the Naturalist staff at Lake. St. Clair Metropark to earn your "Flowers Badge" by becoming a botanist and a lepidopterist for the day. A what? A lepidopterist - a butterfly scientist!Participants will learn all about the "ditch W**d" - common milkweed, that monarch butterflies need to survive. You will become a community scientist for the afternoon as we collect data to enter into the "Monarch Watch" database.
