Peak Monarch Butterfly migration is approaching! Don't miss your chance to join our education staff for a Monarch Tagging Event at Whitewater Canyon. We will provide you with nets and set you loose in the prairie to catch these beautiful butterflies. We will then teach you how to tell if it's male or female, assign it with a special identification tag, and wish it farewell on its tropical journey south. This is a great program for all ages and if you have your own butterfly net, feel free to bring it! Registration is encouraged.
