One of the great songwriters to come out of the state of Iowa, Dave Moore frequently appeared on A Prairie Home Companion between 1986 and 2014. Known for his elegant songwriting and instrumental prowess on blues guitar, button accordion, and harmonica he has become somewhat of a legend. In fact, numerous musicians including Greg Brown, Iris Dement, Bo Ramsey, and many more will be paying tribute to him at the Englert Theatre on December 11th.
