P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome critically-acclaimed writer Mona Awad to celebrate the paperback release of her newest novel, Rouge — where Snow White meets Eyes Wide Shut in a surreal descent into the dark side of beauty, envy, grief, and the complicated love between mothers and daughters — with a discussion, audience Q&A, and book signing!
Mona will be joined in conversation by Kristen Roupenian, national bestselling author of "Cat Person" and Other Stories. After the talk, Mona will sign copies of her book.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
is the author of the novels , , and . was a finalist for a Goodreads Choice Award and the New England Book Award. It was named a Best Book of 2019 by Time, Vogue, and the New York Public Library. It is currently being developed for film with Bad Robot Productions. was a finalist for a Goodreads Choice Award. was shortlisted for the Giller Prize. Awad’s novel is being adapted for film by Fremantle and Sinestra. This spring, Margaret Atwood named Awad her “literary heir” in The New York Times’s T Magazine. She teaches fiction in the creative writing program at Syracuse University and is based in Boston.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR
is the author of the viral short story "Cat Person," which appeared in the in 2017. The New York Times Book Review called her debut collection, , "exciting, smart, perceptive, weird and dark," and said that it "comes from one of those brains that feel out-of-this-world-brilliant and also completely askew." Roupenian also wrote the original story for the A24 smash hit Bodies Bodies Bodies, and has several other film and television projects in development. She is currently at work on a novel.
