About this Event
Find out why oils are actually the easiest painting medium of them all and explore color, value, and composition!
Perfect for those brand new to oil paint, returning to painting, or an experienced artist looking to add oils to your repertoire.
Explore topics including studio materials, dynamic composing of objects, creating a narrative, and measuring techniques while painting in a loose, realistic style.
We will be learning with the "Alla Prima" method, where a piece is finished in one sitting—so students will walk away with 5 small paintings.
**IMPORTANT NOTE**
We want to keep this oil painting course odorless and as toxic/solvent-free as possible for health purposes... Turpentine and Mineral Spirits will not be allowed.
