About this Event

Find out why oils are actually the easiest painting medium of them all and explore color, value, and composition!

Perfect for those brand new to oil paint, returning to painting, or an experienced artist looking to add oils to your repertoire.

Explore topics including studio materials, dynamic composing of objects, creating a narrative, and measuring techniques while painting in a loose, realistic style.

We will be learning with the "Alla Prima" method, where a piece is finished in one sitting—so students will walk away with 3 small paintings. This session's subject matter will be all about tea cups and coffee mugs!

**IMPORTANT NOTE**

We want to keep this course as odorless and toxic-free as possible. Please no mineral spirits or turpentine.
