Murano Ristorante Returns to Manhattan's Restaurant Scene with the Flavors and Staples of Italy's "Veneto" Regions, spanning the Coastal, Mountain & Valley Plains for an Original and Fresh Culinary Experience. An All-Star Cast of Hospitality Legends and Veterans have come together to present a Refined, Unique and Authentic Fine Dining Concept. Owner and Founder, Milan Licul is a legend among New York City restauranteurs. He got his start in the business over 50 years ago, at his family’s small café in Croatia and by 1983 he launched a restaurant with his friend and fellow countryman Branko Turcinovic, opening the original Murano Ristorante on 36th Street in the Garment District, featuring the fine northern Italian dining that became his trademark. Exquisite Casual Fine Dining Murano has a very special place in the pantheon of restaurants Milan Licul has opened. The story of his illustrious run in the New York Dining scene has come full circle – from the original Murano, his first restaurant to this refined reincarnation of Murano as his most recent. Anyone who knows Milan can tell you, it will not be his last.
