About this Event

Our speaker, Catherine Bruce, is a licensed therapist and the owner of Bloom Counseling Collaborative in Belmont. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, Catherine has been dedicated to enhancing the emotional well-being and quality of life of those she serves. Two years ago, Catherine achieved a significant career milestone by opening her private practice, which has allowed her to focus on her true passion: helping chronic people-pleasers, perfectionists, and over-achievers manage anxiety, cultivate inner peace, and embrace self-compassion. In her personal life, she is a mother to three daughters- a 4 year old and twins who just turned 1! Her journeys through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and motherhood have only increased her commitment to addressing the guilt and shame that often weigh heavily on the most dedicated parents.

This presentation is designed for mothers and soon-to-be mothers who struggle with guilt, shame, and anxiety even when they are doing their best. Participants will learn practical strategies to cultivate self-compassion, empowering them to embrace imperfection and reduce the emotional burden of unrealistic expectations. By the end, attendees will have a deeper understanding of guilt and shame- including where these feelings come from and what to do when they arise. We hope this presentation equips you with the knowledge necessary to foster a kinder relationship with yourself.

This Mom's Night Out will offer community and learning, and light refreshments!
