About this Event
The MOMS Club - Porter County Community Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday April 5, 2025 at Sunset Hill Park in Valparaiso. The event is free to attend however, if wish to park your car at Sunset Hill, there is a $7 Parking Voucher fee, per car (not per person). All proceeds from this fee will go our charity partners Gabriel’s Horn Shelter for Women and Children and First Fruits Gives.
About the Event
The event will feature a Sensory Friendly Egg Hunt beginning at 9 AM and a General Admission egg hunt beginning at 10:30 AM. Both hunts are open to ages 0-12.
Sensory Friendly Egg Hunt Information
8:15 AM to 10:15 AM
This hunt is for those attendees who wish to have a more limited, quieter, experience. Folks attending this event will be able to hunt for eggs, have photos with the Easter Bunny, participate in face painting, win prizes, and more! Please note, anyone with a Sensory Friendly Parking Voucher is welcome to stay and participate in the General Admission activities if they wish.
General Admission Egg Hunt Information
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
The general admission egg hunt will feature over 25,000 eggs, a DJ, face painting, Easter Bunny photos, chair massages, food trucks, prizes, and more! Hunting groups will be divided into four age groups (see agenda above).
Important Reminders
- This event occurs rain, snow, or shine so please dress accordingly as, depending on the weather, there could be some muddy spots
- No pets other than certified service animals are allowed at the event.
- Please bring your own bag/baskets to collect eggs in as they will NOT be provided at the venue
- If you are NOT parking at Sunset Hill you do NOT need a voucher for the event. Vouchers are per car and only for those wishing to use the parking lot at Sunset Hill.
- All hunt groups will start at their published times so please plan to arrive with enough time to park and get to the field prior to your child's age group.
Free Parking Vouchers
A limited number of free parking vouchers have been made available for those with financial hardships. They are available through the Center Township Trustees Office. To acquire a ticket please contact the office at 219.462.0810 to coordinate a pickup time. These tickets available while supplies last on a first come first serve basis.
