12x Blues Music Award nominee and 4x winner Vanessa Collier comes to us with a brand new album featuring her fiery saxophone and soulful voice. Described by Rolling Stone as an "up-and-comer" and by American Songwriter as a "queen," Collier channels funk, soul, rock, and blues into her powerful performances.
Hailed by Blues Blast Magazine as “an important part of the future of the blues,” Collier has had a meteoric rise in the industry. After graduating from Berklee College of Music and starting her career with blues legend Joe Louis Walker, she has become a notable artist, with her previous album Heart On The Line spending nine weeks in the Billboard Blues Album Chart top 15.
With a track record of head-turning, fiery, passionate performances on festival stages and concert halls around the world, Vanessa says, “I love connecting with an audience and feeling their energy and I hope to inspire people to follow their dreams and passions, to find what brings them joy, and then to pursue it doggedly.” She takes that message to young people as she runs clinics across the country and is active with Blues in the Schools programs.
