Momentum Choreographers Showcase

projectALCHEMY commemorates six years of supporting dance artists with the 2024 Momentum Choreographers Showcase on September 27th and 28th at 7:30 p.m. at Savant on Second. Join the 2024 Momentum Artists Alyssa Braud, Rya DeMulder, Nicolás Andrés Rodríguez Cruz, and Olivia Schmiedeke as they guide you through their unique dance-making processes tailored for the Savant space. The showcase, lasting an hour, features a blend of interdisciplinary thought-provoking dance works unfolding throughout the evening, followed by a brief discussion and reception to conclude the event. We highly recommend mingling with the choreographers during the event to learn firsthand about their artistic journey and creative process.

Momentum: Choreographic Mentorship is a five-month program for emerging artists, both from within and outside of academia, to create artistic works in the Tampa Bay Area. This mentorship offers budding artists the opportunity to receive creative, financial, and administrative support toward a fully produced weekend of performances
