Renowned international fine art photographer Ralph Kerle, is hosting a 3-night photography programme in October at Ralph Kerle’s Art, 36-38 Sydney Rd Manly. Take advantage of daylight savings and discover how to see the world through the eyes of a photographic artist – over three Tuesday evenings in October, you’ll discover, explore, create and present your own artwork.

This programme isn’t about buttons, lenses, or jargon. It’s about learning how to see like an artist, and turning what you notice into meaningful photographs, artworks - your own masterpiece.
What to Expect
Session 1 : Tues 7 Oct 6-9pm – Seeing Creatively
Join Ralph Kerle for an introduction to artistic seeing. Learn how he works creatively. Discover your own creative eye as you explore what draws you artistically when using your camera. On a guided ‘photowalk’ through Manly, you’ll drift, observe, and learn to capture everyday surroundings in fresh and surprising ways that reflect your unique vision.
Session 2: Tues 14 Oct 6-9pm – Printing as Art
Ralph demystifies the materials of photographic printing. You’ll explore how he works and how paper, texture and finish shape the feel of an image – from delicate colours to bold high-gloss artworks. And then learn about the framing options that enable you to present your masterpiece in the best possible light.
Session 3: Tues 21 Oct 6-9pm – Presenting Your Artwork
The course culminates in a showcase. Each participant will present their finished photographic artwork to the group, with feedback and discussion led by Ralph. You’ll take home a certificate of completion, and the satisfaction of sharing your creative journey. If you’d like to take home a high gloss print of your masterpiece, Ralph can advise the cost.
