Momcology invites parents of children treated at Levine Children's Hospital to join us for Connections Pediatric Cancer Caregiver Support. This session is hybrid: Attend in person or via Zoom. November Topic: Post Traumatic Stress & Growth
We all know that trauma, such as a child’s cancer diagnosis, can cause us to struggle with significant anxiety and negative outlooks. Learning the signs of trauma and when to seek support is critical. But equally important is appreciating the possibility that we can grow through trauma and find new strength as well. In this session, we’ll share our experiences and talk about ways to cope both individually and with the strength of community, so that we may move through our hardest days better equipped to face whatever lies ahead.
