Celebrate Mother’s Day at KWENCH with an afternoon of yoga, crafts and snacks, led by Jen Medak, preschool teacher and yoga instructor. This event is suitable for children ages 4-10. Price includes attendance for one parent and one child, with the option to register an additional child or parent to join in on the fun. Leave with a multi-media canvas painting featuring a photo of you and your child, as well as a playdough gift bag from Treasure Box Creative Play Kits. The agenda for the experience includes:12:00-12:30pm: Receive and paint a canvas (supplies provided) in the South Lounge
12:30-1:30pm: Family yoga in the gym
1:30-2:30pm: Eat snacks and add multi-media to your canvas to complete your project

About your Instructor: Jennifer Medak
Jennifer Medak has been inspired by the magic and wonder of childhood though her work as an early childhood educator, childrens yoga teacher and nanny, for over twenty years. She has directed and taught at preschools in Vancouver, Squamish and Victoria; all of which have been inspired by the Reggio Emilia , Waldorf or nature based philosophies of education. Jennifer has lead a variety of kids and family yoga events, retreats, and classes. Her children’s yoga experiences are dynamic and joyful, and infused with storytelling, games, props and creative movement. Jennifer has also worked as the director of the kids and family program at the Bali Spirit Festival in Ubud Bali every spring for many years. Jennifer is passionate about offering children opportunities for creative expression, investigation, discovery and fun! She is inspired by nature, art, music and movement and incorporates all of these elements into her work with young children
