About this Event
Growth is exciting—bigger, faster, stronger! But sometimes leaving behind our younger selves is hard. From bugs to bats to bears, the natural world shows us how to embrace transformation as part of life.
Join Molly Beth Griffin and Claudia McGehee for a reading of some of the book's poems and the chance to craft your own "amulet for growing" out of a slice of real wood! After the event, enjoy treats and have your books signed.
To attend: This event is open to the public, but registration helps us when considering spatial constraints. You can register for a ticket for free through March 15, 9:00am, and order the book . Additional copies of Rings of Heartwood will be available for purchase during the event, but ordering ahead guarantees your copy.
Signing Guidelines: Following the event, Molly and Claudia will sign and personalize copies of the book. If you would prefer not to stay for the signing portion, Red Balloon can have your books signed and personalized for you and will contact you when they're ready to be picked up.
