MOLEFUNKEN:
Molefunken is a Horten-based trio operating out of Oslo, firmly planted on the fringes of genre and reason. Their wild, unruly and heavy noise rock evokes comparisons to Melvins, Butthole Surfers, Iggy Pop, Captain Beefheart, The Residents and Mr Bungle - and all the other musical madness you never knew you needed.
With their new drummer in place, Mr Nordrum, the band is kicking all kinds of ass.
The band is currently out with the explosive album Fade Into Bolivian, released on the American underground label Forbidden Place Records.
