This month, we have a well-known face at the Bauern - Mr. Tumbleweed Ted!
Ted Handley is a retired musician/entertainer who traveled the USA and other countries during his 40-year career. He began his performing career as a folk singer in Mobile, Alabama, and then pursued classical guitar studies. He still loves playing guitar instrumentals today. From 1972 to 2010, Ted performed in bars and music halls before retiring. But, he says, music gets in the blood, and it's hard to give it up. You may catch him playing gigs now and then, featuring both songs he has written, as well as music from the songwriters who influenced him.
