Meeting in cafe for breakfast at 8am Arizona time, gas station at 9am. We'll air down at the Avi as the trailhead is only about a mile from the casino. It'll be an overnight so bring whatever you need plus a bundle of firewood. We'll camp along the trail around 4pm. I'll be placing Saraine's ashes somewhere on The Road so several members of my family will be going on the Road for the first time. Everyone is invited. We'll be exiting at Afton Canyon Road and Interstate 15 on Sunday. 120 miles of off road on an easy trail. Probably won't even use 4WD unless you're towing a trailer, as we will be doing, but you'll see some fantastic scenery, visit a lava tunnel, cross a cholla forest, and enjoy a 400-year-old road.
