Rahul Ranade and Deux Farming Films in association with Sri Shanmukhananda and Fine Arts Sangeetha Sabha along with the family of Shri Mohammad Rafi present “Mohammad Rafi with The Burmans” This is a charity event for The Shanmukhananda Charitable Community Hospital and donations collected from the show will be forwarded to the dialysis center of the hospital. As a tribute to the legendary singer, the Sabha is organizing a show at Shanmukhananda Hall on the 24th of each month throughout the year 2024.The theme for the 24th November show is "Mohammad Rafi with The Burmans". Rafi Sahab has lent his golden voice to many timeless songs composed by S D and R D Burman which portray a vast range of genres from classical to romantic duets all the way up to rock numbers. Picking the choicest of these flowers, we try to present a colorful bouquet of Rafi Sahab’s songs which he sang for this extremely talented father-son duo.S D Burman’s songs ranging from ‘Nache Mann Mora’ to ‘Deewana Hua Badal’ and R D Burman’s ‘Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan’ to ‘O Haseena Julfon Wali’ will be presented by our young brigade of singers who have paved their way to the top from different Hindi and Marathi reality shows like Sa Re Ga Ma and Indian Idol. The very talented Hrishikesh Ranade, Ashish Kulkarni, and Rohit Raut will pay tribute to these three legends with Sharayu Date accompanying them for the duets. The learned Ambarish Mishra ji will host the program and also share anecdotes about Rafi Sahab which may have never been heard before. A 30-piece orchestra led by Kamlesh Bhadkamkar will electrify the stage with their flawless playing. Rahul Ranade, a veteran music composer himself, will design and direct this mesmerizing tribute to Rafi Sahab and The Burmans.Disclaimer:
