The focus of this course is to effectively assess & treat musculoskeletal pain using advanced powerful techniques deep within the bodies core. Targeting the shoulder girdle, pelvis and lower back you will learn techniques that produce immediate positive results for your clients.
Day 1 - Working with the Bodys Core
- Function and anatomy of the bodys deep fascial core
- Clinical indications for treating the bodys deep fascial core
- Anatomy of the ankle and hip joints
- Anatomy and application of myofascial release techniques for the:
- Gastrocnemius
- Adductors
- Iliopsoas
- Respiratory Diaphragm
- Medial Pterygoid Muscles
Day 2 - Lower Back & Pelvis
- Anatomy of the sacroiliac joint
- Assessment and correction of the sacroiliac joint
- Advanced techniques for the lower back and pelvis
- Anatomy and application of myofascial release techniques for the:
- Deep Lateral Rotators
- Multifidi
- Erector Spinae
Part III - Shoulder Girdle
- Assessment and anatomy of the shoulder joint
- The significance of the first rib in neck and shoulder pain
- Correction of an elevated rib
- Anatomy and application of myofascial release techniques for the:
- Levator Scapulae
- Pectoralis Minor
- Subscapularis
- Biceps Brachii
- Wrist Flexors & Extensors
These techniques have been proven time and again to effectively treat pain and create balance within the body. A great skill set to add to your existing treatment protocols while teaching you how to work effectively for maximum practitioner efficiency and minimum fatigue.
