About this Event
First Aid
First Response training is a key resource in any leader’s toolkit. The course will allow you to explore the role of a first aider within a Scouting context.
This is a blended learning option; the online resource can be accessed via the link here and will guide you through the theory required. Theory must be completed prior to attending this face to face training.
You do not have to complete the online learning in one go, the system saves your progress so you can return to it later. The course is designed to be completed in 2.5 hours but will depend on past experience.
Once successfully completed you will need to attend this 3 hour face to face training session to validate modules 10A and 10B. This is the only method to gain your first response requirements, unless you are part of an exempted occupation or hold an equivalent external course.
If you have any questions relating to First Aid, please email:
Please use your Scouting email address to book as hotmail and google mail accounts do not accept communications from Eventbrite and you will not receive joining instructions or other information regarding the course.
