About this Event
Join Fabian Watkinson for a tour of some of London’s best modernist housing schemes.
The walk covers several of the key projects that comprised Camden’s ‘golden era’ of social housing during the 1960s and ’70s, led borough architect Sydney Cook.
As well as being a long-time resident of Highgate New Town, Fabian is an experienced tour guide and the author of The Golden Age of Camden Housing. You’ll be in very good hands!
The price of a ticket includes the printed guide (worth £4.60). Please note there are strictly only 18 spaces available—anyone turning up without a ticket won’t be allowed on the tour.
The walk begins in Archway and ends at Belsize Park tube station. Bring water, umbrellas, good walking shoes and an inquisitive mind.
