Modern Hypnosis presents: The belated Pugilist - Vintage EP release showcase.…better late than never!
Modern Hypnosis released Vintage EP on 12" vinyl and digital by Pugilist in November 2023. However, we never had the chance to indulge in a celebratory soirée.
So here it is, fashionably late, 10 months later.

Alex Dickson, aka Pugilist has been busy releasing electronic music for almost 15 years under various alias. With over 50 vinyl releases to his name, Pugilist obviously spends a lot of time in the studio making music. It’s quite a rare occurrence for him to appear for a cheeky DJ set to showcase the sounds that inspire his work.
Pugilist’s music has been played all over the world in DJ sets by Djrum, Azu Tiwaline, Al Wootton, Martyn, Mia Koden, Objekt, Tim Reaper, Elton John*, Om Unit, …to name drop a few!
Modern Hypnosis is proud to be apart of his musical journey featuring six Pugilist releases to date…and many more to come! Pugilist - Vintage EP has gained massive support around the world, big love to all the selectors and collectors
