Come learn about altering your own clothes! As a group, we'll learn basic alterations such as dart location for molding clothes to get a better fit, simple length adjustments (hemming pants/skirts/sleeves), taking in sides for width reduction (torso/legs/waist), shortening/expanding clothing straps, and basic stitching for when there isn't a sewing machine available.This presentation will include a demonstration, but is not hands-on. Registration is not required. Space is available first come, first served.
