Calligraphy Workshop + Drink Ticket
Sip, relax, and get creative at Caboose Commons in Merrifield! This beginner-friendly workshop teaches you the basics of modern calligraphy using a dip pen — no experience needed. Bring a friend or come alone - either way you will meet like-minded people while you are here!
Your ticket includes:
- 1 drink from Caboose Commons
- All calligraphy materials (dip pen, nib, ink, and practice sheets)
- Extra take-home supplies to keep practicing
- 1.5 hours of guided instruction
What you’ll learn:
- Basic strokes and letter formation
- Lowercase and uppercase letters
- Writing words and short phrases
- Tips to develop your own style
- We will end the class by designing gratitude journals to take home!
Details:
- Adults 18+ only; children are welcome to sit at a nearby table under another adult’s supervision
- Arrive a few minutes early to grab your drink and settle in. We will start promptly at 6:30pm.
- By the end, you’ll leave with practiced letters and a completed piece to take home
Refund policy: Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to a friend if needed.
Please note: This workshop is located on the second floor of Caboose Commons, and is not wheelchair accessible.
