SKILL LEVEL: Beginner - This class is designed for the beginner. No previous experience is required to complete this course. If you've been online lately, you'll have seen the incredible buttercream work from Cassie Watene AKA Cas' Cakery. We're thrilled to be hosting her very first cupcake decorating class in June 2021.
Learn how to pipe perfect buttercream cupcakes, while soaking up tips and tricks from ACADA's Rising Star for 2021. You'll even receive a special discount on Cas' melt in your mouth ermine buttercream recipe when she releases in July!
Each student will leave with a completed set of 12 buttacake cupcakes, as well as their set of LOYAL piping tips used in class!
In this class you will learn about:
> The basics of buttercream
> How to colour buttercream
> How to prepare a piping bag
> How to use a selection of assorted piping tips
> Colour theory and how to select complementary colours
> Information about a variety of cake decorating tools & their uses
WHAT IS SUPPLIED?
We supply the all the supplies and equipment for use on the day.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You are welcome to bring note pad, pen and a water bottle. These are not compulsory and completely up to you.
Please ensure that you wear fully enclosed shoes and that long hair is tied back for class.

CLASS SIZE:
We restrict this course to a maximum of ten students per course. This gives you a better learning experience with our instructor.

Our council registered commercial kitchen/classroom is maintained and cleaned in accordance with strict COVID-19 guidelines.
