About this Event

Welcome to Mocktails & Meaningful Conversations!

Grab a mocktail and join us for a relaxed, open-hearted conversation about the role we as women are often expected to play in our relationships! Our society often makes us feel as though our worth is defined by our relationship status. So whether you’re single, married, divorced, not interested, or anything in between, this gathering is about creating a space to share your experiences, receive validation, and focus on how YOU want to show up in your relationships, instead of what you’ve been made to feel you’re “supposed” to do. We’ll discuss the importance of self-care, setting boundaries, and how to nurture healthy relationships with yourself and those around you.

Included with your ticket:

One delicious mocktail!

Meet Jordan:

Jordan A. Madison, LCMFT, is a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist and certified yoga instructor. She owns and practices at Therapy Is My J.A.M., LLC, a private practice that helps individuals and couples heal from their pasts to understand their present and create the future they desire. Since completing her 200 hour yoga certification, she has begun hosting mental health workshops in her community. She is the author of The CBT Journal for Mental Health, which uses her “J.A.M. Method” of journal prompts, affirmations and mindfulness exercises to help prioritize one’s mental health. Outside of being a therapist, she is a blog writer for Therapy for Black Girls, and the cofounder of The Jam Planner, a digital planner that assists users with being more productive while also prioritizing their self care. She is passionate about reducing the stigmas around mental health and therapy.
