About this Event
2025 is coming to a close, and what an uncertain yet transformative year it has been.
Through all its twists and turns, one thing remains constant—the power of our collective spirit. Once again, we’ll gather in that light at Mocha Mic with Millie: Friday, November 21st @ PAC Studio + Gallery (@pacstudiojc) to celebrate the final show of 2025. Together, we’ll rally through artistry, joy, and truth against whatever this year has brought our way.
We’re closing out the year with four incredible features ready to light up the mic with passion and purpose:
✨ CBL Kev (@cblkev) — A Brooklyn-born poet whose journey began during the pandemic on Clubhouse. Since then, he’s performed across 40+ stages and is preparing to release his debut poetry book Scattered Thoughts Beyond the Surface in Fall 2025.
✨ K. Desireé Milwood (@haikuguru) — A Brooklyn-born, Panamanian American poet known for her bold, witty approach to language. Author of Whisper Whisper Shout (2025) and a featured voice at the Dodge Poetry Festival and North2Shore, she continues to push poetic boundaries.
✨ Dijah’s Diary (@dijah_diary) — A Long Island/Queens poet whose work on grief, love, and healing was born from journaling through loss. Her poetry feels like a page torn from her diary—raw, emotional, and deeply human.
✨ jhintro (@jhintro) — A multidisciplinary creative and founder of Good Soil, blending art, faith, and community. Since 2009, he’s been cultivating spaces for expression and healing, including his monthly open mic in Plainfield, NJ.
