About this Event
Class led by Heather Gibson Doctor of Physical therapy and owner of Gibson Body wellness Physical therapy. She has been a PT for 12 years and has as a passion herself for fitness and helping others heal, move and feel their best. This class will be for anyone looking to improve mobility but also appropriate for current athletes looking to enhance sports performance or just wanting to improve their mobility fitness routine. She will lead stretching and mobility activites to help reduce tension, improve muscle length and help you find those areas that may be restricting your lifting and workout routine.
Class will start with a series of stretching then go specific exercises using different myofascial release tools such as foam rollers and muscle relase balls as well as tools to assist self mobility such as resistance bands and dowels. Areas of focus will include hip,pelvis, and spine.
Injury screens and mini consults for cupping, dry needling and other body work offered after.
