Bula vinaka Brothers,The festive season is almost here and before we know it, we’ll be saying goodbye to another year and welcoming a new one!
Last year, our Vallejo brothers hosted an amazing joint Christmas party that brought us all together. This year, it’s MOB Northbay’s turn to host! The celebration will be held on Saturday, December 6th, at the hall within the St. Eugene compound.
At last year’s event, Northbay and Sacramento helped contribute toward the costs, while Vallejo carried most of the load as hosts. This time around, we’re kindly asking 30 Old Boys to contribute $100 each to help cover this year’s expenses. Our estimated budget is $4,150. The remaining amount will come from our coffers.
To help us plan ahead, please send in your contribution by Friday, November 22nd. This will give us enough time to finalize catering and other arrangements.
The idea behind this annual gathering that was started by our Vallejo brothers is something special. We realized that too often, we only come together during sad times, like funerals. So this Christmas party gives us the chance to meet under happier circumstances to celebrate the season, reconnect, and spend time with brothers and families we may not have seen in a while.
So please, mark your calendars, take the time off, and come enjoy an evening of fellowship, grog, and good company around the tanoa.
