About this Event
Music on a Whim & Nashaz invite you to an evening where artists weave together three distinct sonic worlds, each dissolving the boundaries between memory and invention, tradition and experiment. Voices are reshaped into instruments of transformation, where fragments of the past collide with futuristic textures. The result is a shared landscape of sound as both archive and prophecy, inviting listeners to drift between times, identities, and states of being.
Address – NASHAZ , Rue Picard 3, 1000, Bruxelles
Doors – 7 30pm
Tickets – 10 euros pre-sales (plus booking fees); 13 euros on the door
Wolfgang Pérez presents "Memorias Fantasmas" – Choral / Experimental pop / Field Recordings
Half-German, half-Spanish songwriter, arranger and guitarist Wolfgang Pérez has been carving out his own idiosyncratic path between pop deconstruction, chamber textures and free improvisation.
This spring, Pérez turned to his own archive with the release of “Memorias Fantasmas” ((Hive Mind Records, 2025), a deeply personal and mournful EP built from lo-fi cassette recordings made by his grandfather in 1982, capturing his Spanish family singing in a church in Segovia. Through electronic manipulation, Pérez transforms these fragile sounds into haunted echoes of memory – a spectral blend of ambience, melancholy and ritual. For his show at Nashaz, he will present a semi-improvised live interpretation of Memorias Fantasmas — a rare chance to experience his intimate, otherworldly sound world in real time.

Vina Konda – Bass / Industrial / Metal
Vina Konda is a polymorphic identity in a Cli-Fi universe that writes a story of an adult living through the spectre of their teenagehood.
They try to open a portal between temporalities and slip through identities to let them coexist and to form hybrid sonic echoes: a distorted souvenir of their own teenage bedroom haunted by the ghosts incarnating their potential future selves.

HABIIIBIJI – Classical / Electronic / Microtonal
HABIIIBIJI weaves a sonic tapestry of microtonal precision and immersive texture. At
the core are microtonal synthesizers, shaping vibrating drones and well-tempered
melodies with a strong depth and presence. These evolving electronic landscapes set the stage for voice, rooted in the ancient Indian Dhrupad tradition, adding a human and mystic thread to the electronic fabric. Hypnotic arpeggiators and intricate rhythms, built from sound-designed beats and textured field recordings, create an immersive groove, guiding the audience through a progressive trance that blurs the lines between past and future.
