Friday, April 11th: Cooking Competition: 5:30pm - 7:00pm Dinner included! $40
- Showcase your culinary skills in this “Chopped” style cooking competition. This optional opportunity will be held after the “HealthScripts: Building Community Resilience and Health through Food” talk. During this talk you will learn all about the nutrition prescription program using CSA boxes from local farms. During the cooking competition you will be provided with the CSA box and prompted to create a dish to impress the judges and win! MSU’s own Stephanie Mitchell Urich will be there to guide you through this friendly competition in the MSU Foods Lab.
Saturday, April 12th: Yoga Session 6:30am-7:30am $5
- Start the day with an open heart and calm mind joining together for a 60-minute gentle vinyasa flow for all practice levels.
Limited mats will be available first come first serve
Saturday, April 12th: 10:45am-12:15pm From Pasture to Plate: Artisanal Cheese Making with Terrell Creek Farm $40
- Join Leslie Million from Terrel Creek Farms in the MSU Foods Lab learn about the cheese-making process and take home your own artisanal cheese
The first 25 registrants will receive a free conference T-shirt at badge pick-up! Please indicate your preferred t-shirt size.
Additional T-shirts will be available for purchase at the conference.
