Watch muralists finish up their week-long mural projects along the Riverfront Heritage Trail under the Town of Kansas Bridge. Port KC manages this property which has an interesting collection of concrete objects, like levee walls. We want to support the arts, brighten up the space, and create an attraction free to all. We hired muralists and had 6 installed in year one (two more on containers further east). In year two we invite food trucks, the public, musicians and threw a party celebrating the week of work.
Attendees have a chance to meet the artists and see them in the throws of how they create. We bring food, drink (BIG RIP!) and music to help create an inviting environment.
