THEME: Blessings crown the head of the Righteous
We are thrilled to invite you to join us for an unforgettable and transformative experience at this year's Christian Camp! Our theme, "Crown of Righteousness," will challenge and inspire you to focus on the eternal rewards that come from serving God with all your heart.
Serving God is not just about doing good deeds but about narrowing our focus to those things with the highest eternal value. As we face the challenges of daily life, it’s easy to become distracted, but God's Word encourages us to stay focused on what truly matters. Revelation 3:11 reminds us, "I am coming soon. Hold on fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown." This verse calls us to remain steadfast in our faith, holding onto the eternal promises of God.
At this camp, we will explore what it means to live with our eyes on the eternal crown that awaits the righteous. We will discover how blessings truly crown the head of the righteous and how each step of faith brings us closer to God's promises. Together, we will pray, worship, and build lasting connections that encourage each of us to stay focused on God's calling for our lives.
VENUE:
This year, MMNZ will once again be hosting a weekend camp at Christian Youth Camps (CYC), the same beautiful venue as last year. Located just one hour south of Manukau City and 20 minutes north of Hamilton, CYC is nestled between the Waipa River and the stunning Hakarimata Scenic Reserve. The camp spans 38 hectares of native bush, pastures, and excellent facilities. On clear days, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Waikato, with sights extending as far south as National Park.
ACCOMMODATION
Camp Waikato, also known as Camp Two, is a fully catered site and offers a total of 246 beds across 6 cabins. The cabins include 23 separate bunkrooms, with layouts ranging from 7 to 12 bunk beds per room, as well as 5 family cabins featuring a queen bed and either 4, 5, or 9 single beds. Due to overwhelming interest, MMNZ has also been able to secure additional campsite space for tents, providing even more options for accommodation.
