It's that time again - Mayo Meadow Neighborhood Association is bringing dumpsters for you to fill with your unwanted junk. Please be sure to follow guidelines of what trash is acceptable (see below). We have scheduled the dumpsters for soon after our neighborhood garage sale so you have an easy way to dispose of extra items.MMNA Dumpster Days
The dumpsters are a service for MM residents, not for rental or commercial cleanup or your in-laws or friends. This year the City will deliver the dumpster to the area of 22nd Place and Richmond on Friday, August 22nd and then picked up again on Monday, August 25th.
Please put only approved items in the dumpsters and do not overfill the dumpsters. MMNA is able to provide a dumpster each year because residents in the past have followed the City's rules & regulations (see below). If we do not, we will not be allowed a dumpster next year. The dumpsters are for MM residents, and not for businesses or cleaning out rental property.
CITY DUMPSTER RULES:
*No whole limbs, whole trees or other tree debris
*No grass clippings
*No Freon bearing appliances
*No roofing materials
*No air conditioners
*No car parts or tires
*No roofing materials
*No whole buildings, garages or sheds
*If you cannot put your stuff in the dumpster don't bring it. The City will not pick up things left by the dumpster and the neighbors who kindly host the dumpsters will be stuck with it.
*Be a good neighbor. If you are going to the dumpster this year, ask your neighbors if you can take an eligible item or two for them.
*DO NOT OVER FILL THE DUMPSTER above 3/4 of the way up, as it creates transportation problems.
For other items that are not acceptable for the dumpster or items that you are unable to deliver to the dumpster, contact the City of Tulsa at (918) 596-9777 for information on a Bulky Waste Pickup at a cost of $10.
