The MMG Foundation will be hosting its Annual Marcus Garvey Day Celebrations.
We will be celebrating the One Hundred and Thirty Seventh year of the birth of the RT. Excellent. Marcus Mosiah Garvey One of the Fathers of Pan-Africanism Jamaica’s First National Hero and the founder of the UNIA.
The Event will take place at the Gold Coast Restaurant on Saturday 17th August 2024. The preceding will start at 5pm.
The Celebrations will feature a Three Course Meal and a live Performance from The Ghana National Symphony Orchestra.
We will also have a live performance from the Connexion Steel Band Orchestra live and Direct from Trinidad & Tobago.
Other local acts such as Osagyefo ‘The Simple Entertainer’ will also be appearing.
The Event will be a Fundraiser for The MMG Foundation’s Vocational Training Programme for African Youths.
There will also be an Auction Raffle and other Fun activities.
