Join us at 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, for the MLK Night of Culture at the Two Mississippi Museums, sponsored by FedEx! This year's theme is inspired by the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, a landmark civil rights law that prohibited racial discrimination in voting. The program will be hosted by Alexis Noble, curator of The Mash Up, an online platform for Mississippi artists. The event is free and includes live visual art, spoken word, vocal, dance, and theatre performances by local artists and organizations.Admission to the Two Mississippi Museums will be free on Saturday, Jan. 18, through Tuesday, Jan. 21, sponsored by FedEx.
